Welcome!  Thank you for visiting my website.  The title of this site, “Lady Lynn,” was a nickname given to me by a man I worked with who called himself “Master Matt.”  I had just started my website at the time and launched it March 16, 2006.  My raison d’être for building this site is to keep connected with close friends.  My plan was to post some pictures and write about what I was doing presently.  However, shortly after I launched this site, I had met with my next door neighbor.  He was a painter, and although he enjoyed creating his artwork, he hid his finished pieces in the closet, behind the door, or under the bed.  I suggested that he build a website or something to show his work, because what's the point of making it if no one will ever see it?  I went back to my apartment and started writing, and that was when I realized that I was doing the same thing.  I wrote so much, but shared very little, and I kept my writing hidden in notebooks, on my computer, or filed in folders.  It was then I decided to change the direction of my site.  It is now less an avenue with which to keep connected with friends, and more an online composite of ideas, interests, passions, pursuits, and the creative pieces that I have written over the years.  I love to write and want to share my life’s story.  But in order to build my site intelligently and to exercise Internet safety, some pages may be password–protected, depending on the sensitivity of the material.  This is a creative outlet for me and a constant work in progress, so things may shift and change from time to time.  This is the only Internet presence that I have, and I am not on Facebook, My Space, You Tube, Blogger, or Twitter at the present time.  This website looks best when it is visited using Internet Explorer, and it may not appear exactly the way that I customized it if opened using other web browsers.  Thanks again for visiting my website.  I hope you enjoy your stay!
